The Three Sisters

Act Theatre presents The Three Sisters from Tuesday, January 20 to Sunday, February 8.  The piece is by Anton Chekhov, and the production is part of The Seagull Project, celebrating the author’s great works.

This story, directed by John Langs, is set in a provincial town in Russia where the Prozorov family dreams of moving to the big city of Moscow.  A new military presence arrives and creates new obstacles and challenges for the family. 

The Seagull Project was formed in 2011 when meeting through a Seattle Shakespeare Company production.  They recently performed in a theatre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
